Breath of the Wild Link Cosplay

This month my project is link from Breath of the Wild! I was inspired after watching @aletheia_cosplay play during her live-stream. I thought long and hard and decided that since this month Involves the main bulk of my graduate project, I need something easier for this month.

Cosplay Elements

• Elf Ears

• Blue tunic with white embroidery

• Grey waffle short sleeve undershirt

• Green ribbed mock turtleneck

• Green Obi

• Black fingerless gloves

• Khaki pants

• Leather armor

- Chestplate

- Belt

- Bracers

• Dark blue-Gray Hylian hood

• Brown boots

The wig

I have a wig I originally bought for Carol/Dolores before I started using my own hair that will work perfect for Link. Its From WigIsFashion and goes just above my shoulders. It needs a little bit of styling but It will be perfect.

Elf Ears

I purchase elf ears from the seller MadhouseFXstudio on Etsy. They got in the other day and I only just barely tried them on. They fit really well and look really realistic.

Blue Tunic

I haven't decided whether I will make this tunic, purchase an already made one, or just purchase a blue shirt to alter. I’m going to talk to my grandmother a little more and see what would be best If were going to use her embroider machine.

Gray waffle shirt

I found the perfect shirt on Amazon and all I will have to do is shorten the long sleeves into short sleeves.

Green ribbed shirt

I also found a ribbed shirt on Amazon Its not perfect, but it will work. I will also need to color match as best as I can to the Obi

Black fingerless Gloves

I’m having issues finding an affordable pair but I found a pair on Amazon for $10 that has okay reviews. I’m hoping that since im not wearing too often that will help.

Khaki pants

I have a pair of khaki pants that will work. I’ve had them for awhile, and I believe they're from Banana Republic.

Leather Armor

I’m still mostly deciding whether to make this. It'll make the costume look cooler, but I’ll need to use my Wonder Woman foam, but it could be a good-beginners project for foam work before I start the rigorous Wonder Woman next month. Though for the belt, I will be using my Ray belt.

Hylian Hood

While I found a cloak on Amazon for less than $30. I may make this and either embroider the back or paint the design on the back.

Brown boots

I have a pair of boots! They're not perfect but they will work!

I think I’ll have some time during Spring Break to get a majority of this done. Im thinking I may wear this to the Norman Renaissance Fair this year, but I haven’t decided as I also have my Rogue and Belle that I could wear as well.
